Individual Maple And Brown Sugar Apple Crisps
Just for fun I did a search the other day using the word "individual." There are quite a few recipes with that in the title, this being one of them. I found an apple called Jonagold in the store that I had never heard of before. I picked it because it was pretty. :-)
There was just enough for three ramekins! I loved that! I am saving one of these for my breakfast tomorrow. :-) I suppose one could add some cinnamon or nutmeg, if inclined.

Oh my! Don't those look delicious! Wow! Beautiful pictures Frankieanne. Easy enough ingredient list too. I think I even may have wheat germ in the pantry if I dig long enough. :)
Adding cinnamon is a good idea. Love cinnamon.

I've never had wheat germ. What's it like and is there something I can use as a substitute?

My dad used to use wheat germ when I was a kid. Its a powdery thing. I didn't use anything as a substitute - just omitted it. I think it is more of an optional add in food than an ingredient, like smoothies and such.

Yum that looks so good! I'm surprised there is no flour in this whatsever.
I'm guessing your breakfast was good today? :)

Yes, it was pretty tasty. I'm going to try to hold off on the last one today to save it for tomorrow's breakfast. We will see if I make it. :-P

Thanks FA, I just am tired of buying ingredients for one recipe and then have it sit for months (or years) never used again. As soon as all the holiday baked goods and such are gone, I'm going to try this.
